The Crystal Lake Strikers Drumline is a high-energy entertainment group playing cadences and drum charts along with backing tracks on a sound system. The backing tracks combine popular music from 70’s funk to country to today’s top hits.  Crowds come to their feet and dance along when the Strikers approach!

 

The Strikers have a roster of around 30 drummers including snares, tenors, basses and cymbals. The members rotate participation in performances. Membership is free for participants with the exception of payment for uniforms (approximately $100 for jersey and cap).

 

The group practices weekly at our facility at 54 Lou Street in Crystal Lake, IL. The season runs from late spring and to fall with an additional short session preparing for the Thanksgiving weekend parades. Performances are generally on weekends and may include parades, sporting events, festivals or drum corps shows around the region.
