Help The Strikers Find A Home
HOW CAN I HELP THE STRIKERS
HELP US FIND A HOME
After 12 years of growth, the Strikers now boast six ensembles, over 120 students and members, summer camps, and more than 30 performances each year. Along with that growth comes a need for a home to call our own. We have been fortunate to have gracious hosts in the past but to achieve our future goals, a proper space is required.
The ideal home would have:
An open space the size of a gym floor with ceilings 20 ft+
Five rooms for sectional and individual instruction
Storage space for drums, mallet instruments, color guard equipment, etc.
Meeting and office space
Overhead door or loading dock
If you know of a building like that or would like to contribute financially, please contact us.
DONATE TO THE STRIKERS
The Crystal Lake Strikers are proud to announce their partnership with the McHenry County Community Foundation as way to support the good work that the Strikers and the Community Foundation do in the community.
This partnership allows Strikers supporters to make a tax deductible contribution to the Strikers Drumline to help cover the expenses associated with providing educational opportunities to young musicians in the region as well as the expenses associated with running the line all year long.
Our supporters should know that no board members associated with the Strikers is paid for the services they provide.
To make a tax-deductible contribution to the Strikers Fund, simply make a check out to the Crystal Lake Strikers Drumline, and send it to
The McHenry County Community Foundation
101 S. Benton St., Suite 10,
Woodstock, IL 60098
A letter acknowledging your gift, and including an appropriate tax line, will be forwarded to the person identified on the check. The letter will be on MCCF letterhead, as the MCCF are the ones providing the tax deduction, but they will confirm that it was a gift to the Striker’s Fund in the letter.
If someone wishes to make a credit card gift online, they can simply go to the McHenry County Community Foundation and donate through their Donate Online link. Make sure that you include a note that it should be directed to the Striker’s Fund. The same acknowledgement process will occur as if a check was sent.
