Kingpins Drumline

KINGPINS

ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION

The Kingpins Drumline is a cooperative effort with the Northern Illinois Recreation Association (NISRA)  and the Crystal Lake Strikers designed to bring the excitement of drumming to students with special needs.

The Kingpins program leads students to a greater appreciation of music by playing percussion instrument with recorded music.  All skill levels are welcome.

The Kingpins will rehearse weekly playing drums along with recorded music and learn stick and body movements like the Strikers All-Stars.

The Kingpins program was established in January 2019 and the students had their first public performance at the Strikers Evening of Percussion event on February 23, 2019.
