The Crystal Lake Thunder is an indoor drumline competing as a WGI Class A Independent group. In their 3-year history they have grown from a beginner performance group into a WGI Finalist.
Indoor drumline is a competitive winter-based pageantry art centered around rudimentary marching percussion. Stemming from competitive drum and bugle corps, the indoor drumline activity encompasses scholastic and independent circuits under one umbrella organization called Winter Guard International - or WGI. Thunder operates as an independent group, competing in the Percussion Independent A class. Most students of independent organizations range in age from 14 to 22, at which point you graduate from the activity. Each ensemble prepares a floor show lasting approximately 6 minutes, and spends their season rehearsing and perfecting their program until meeting mid-April in Dayton, Ohio for the WGI Percussion Championships.

ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION
PINSTRIPES is the newest ensemble in the Striker Organization! This educational percussion program is for students in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades. Students will learn musical and performance concepts through engaging instruments, lively tunes, and fun activities. The Pinstripes will return to the Raue Show this February.

2. ONLINE REGISTRATION
Please fill out the online registration form for your student.
*This form needs to be completed EVERY SESSION, so we have your more recent contact information.
3, SIGN THIS FORM
Print out and sign the Release and Authorization form.
Your drummer MUST bring this form to the first practice.
4. REMIND NOTIFICATIONS
Sign up for Remind notifications. This will ensure you get important text updates during our session regarding weather, cancelations and performances.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST
Fees for the program pay for drumsticks, uniforms, materials, instruction, music, show design, rehearsal site rental, insurance, and instruments.
NOTE: Fee's should not be a barrier to participate. Please contact us if there are concerns about dues.
HOW OFTEN DO WE PRACTICE
Rehearsals are Thursdays at 5:15 PM to 6:15 PM during all of our sessions.
NOTE: We do not practice during holidays or during winter break.
